Mega Conference Vendor Opportunities

The Indiana Bankers Association Mega Conference is the largest state banker association meeting in the country! Serving as our preeminent educational event, this conference traditionally attracts 900+ bankers from around the state and will again be held at the Indiana Convention Center. This is your best opportunity to display your products and services to the Indiana banking community! We also have many opportunities for sponsorship, program book advertising and mobile app banner ads to increase your visibility at this year’s event.

Virtual BSA Graduate School

This two-day program is designed for BSA professionals who are competent in the core requirements of Bank Secrecy Act rules. It will provide an advanced level of training and interactive discussion on the challenges of developing and managing an effective BSA program.

The curriculum extensively covers Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs), dedicating ample time to this area due to SARs now encompassing a broader range of topics than ever before. Attendees are encouraged to share "war stories" related to their experiences with SAR filings while gaining a wealth of information from the presenter. Real-life BSA scenarios will also be dissected through these discussions.

This school will include the updated sections of the BSA Exam Manual that were published in 2023. While many of those sections will have minimal impact on your bank, it is crucial for BSA officers to be aware of their existence.

We will engage in discussions covering all of the latest pronouncements. Some introduce new material while others serve as reminders of steps
the bank should have taken or should currently take.

A segment of the program emphasizes BSA program management, including leveraging technology for detecting BSA issues. Additionally, students will learn to design an effective BSA program through the study of provided workflow charts.

Advanced Commercial Lending School

If you are a lender, are you ready to improve your game? If you manage or review commercial relationships, what are the key drivers of borrower performance after the loan has been closed?

This advanced, two-day course has the answers, with a focus on effective initial structuring and subsequent monitoring of commercial lending relationships. It goes beyond the basics of financial analysis and portfolio management to provide experienced bankers the advanced tools to influence credit quality and profitability. We explore critical quantitative factors such as the role of sales growth in the financial performance of the borrower, as well as qualitative issues of industry, market and management risks.

Bank Directors Regional Workshop

This program will explore the role played by the Board of high performing banks. High performing banks are defined as producing strong returns for their shareholders. These effective boards are characterized by being active, but not meddling. These boards allow management to run the bank on a day-to-day basis, while holding management accountable. The bank’s best opportunity for success occurs when the board clearly sets the strategic direction of the bank.
