The Indiana Bankers Association was honored with three statewide awards, presented by the Indiana Society of Association Executives at an awards ceremony held Dec. 10 in Carmel:
· Amber R. Van Til, IBA executive vice president, was recognized as 2015 Association Professional of the Year for outstanding dedication, innovation and leadership.
· The IBA Future Leadership Division’s “Day at the Statehouse” won the Outstanding Individual Program/Event award. Designed to help emerging bank leaders learn the basics of grassroots advocacy, the event was coordinated by Dax Denton, vice president-government relations, and Christina M. Bennett, CMP, vice president-meetings and events. The FLD will be hosting its second annual Day at the Statehouse on Feb. 9, 2016.
· IBA marketing packages won the Outstanding Non-Dues Revenue Program award. The marketing packages, which offer customized packages of marketing opportunities at a reduced cost to IBA associate members, are administered by Rod Lasley, vice president-products & services.
