Annual Convention Exhibitor FAQ

We are very pleased to welcome you to the 2023 IBA Annual Convention and hope that you find it enjoyable and rewarding. Here are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions:

How do I select a booth?  Click here for the floor plan to see the available spaces and please select your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices for a booth. *Please note the floor has ballroom carpet.

Where is the event located?   French Lick Springs Resort located at 8670 W. State Road 56, French Lick, IN. French Lick is approximately 100 miles southwest of Indianapolis; or 65 miles northwest of Louisville, KY.

What are the trade show hours?    The trade show parallels the conference agenda - 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, and 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday. However, when you choose to “man” your exhibit is at your own discretion. (See following questions.)

Can an exhibitor attend the education sessions?   Absolutely! Exhibitors are considered full registrants and are encouraged to fully participate in the conference.

Can an exhibitor attend the meal functions?     Yes! Once again, exhibitors are considered full registrants and are encouraged to fully participate in the conference. You will make as many, if not more contacts during education sessions and meal functions as you will standing at your exhibit.

How can we get name badges for additional representatives?     Your exhibitor fee covers one representative. Additional representatives can be added for $300 each. Standard registration fees and procedures apply thereafter. All representatives must be registered and have IBA credentials to enter the trade show area. Please contact Susan Clark (sclark@indiana.bank) to request an additional representative.

Where do we get chairs?     Each booth will be provided with two chairs. Additional chairs are available for rental from Fern Expo (an order form will be sent to you in advance). Please do not take chairs from the meeting rooms

How do I acquire electricity?   You will have to order and pay for your own electricity directly from French Lick. Please click here to access the necessary form.

When and how can we announce door-prize winners?     During the Tuesday breakfast we will be announcing any door-prize winners that you have.

When is teardown?     After the door prize announcements you may dismantle and remove exhibits on Tuesday. Please do not teardown prior to this time.

How do I make arrangements for shipping?     A pre-show email with shipping and furniture rental information will be sent by Fern Expo in late July or early August. After the show, representatives of Fern will be available Tuesday morning to assist you with your shipping needs. 

What about WiFi?   There is free WiFi in the exhibit hall and the surrounding area.

What is the Attire?   We are opening the Convention with our Chairman's banquet and the attire for this event is business dress with a black-tie option. During the rest of the Convention the attire is business casual.
