Karen B. Woods is general counsel and chief administrative officer of First Financial Bank, Cincinnati, Ohio. She was named to her current position in March 2022 after prior service since 2016 as executive vice president, corporate counsel and chief risk officer of MainSource Financial Group Inc., the holding company for MainSource Bank.
Previously Woods practiced law for 20 years, most recently as a partner in the Indianapolis law firm of Krieg DeVault LLP, with a practice focusing on representing financial institutions and corporate clients. Prior to entering private practice, she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable John G. Baker, Indiana Court of Appeals.
Woods earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and master’s and JD degrees from Indiana University. She is admitted to the bar in Indiana and Ohio.
