Luke Wiley of Center Grove High School, Greenwood, Indiana, won the 2019 Lights Camera Save! contest hosted by the American Bankers Association (ABA) Foundation. He was sponsored by Security Federal Savings Bank, Logansport, which selected the video – “ A Time to Save” – to submit to the national-level contest. As grand prize winner of Lights Camera Save!, Wiley won $5,000 toward his savings goals, and his school won a scholarship for a teacher to attend the annual Jump$tart National Educator Conference.

The winning video uses humor and special effects to emphasize the need to establish and maintain sound savings habits. The annual Lights Camera Save! competition invites banks to sponsor area contests among high school students to create videos that promote saving for the future. Area winners are then entered into the national contest, from which five finalists are selected. Security Federal Savings Bank additionally gave cash awards to the top three finalists of its area contest. Read ABA news release.
