The Indianapolis Business Journal published a June 29 op-ed, “Credit unions should pay their fair share,” authored by IBA President and CEO Amber Van Til. The op-ed outlines the ways that credit unions have outgrown their tax-exempt purpose, shares similar views from other individuals and organizations, and argues that current tax reform should extend to federal taxation of credit unions.
