Mega Attendee Bulletin

We are excited to welcome you to the 2019 Mega Conference! This year’s event will begin on Monday, May 13, with our Track sessions taking place on Tuesday, May 14, and Wednesday, May 15.

Below are some links to information you might find helpful before you come to the conference.

Location - This year we will again be on the first floor of the Indiana Convention Center at 100 S Capitol Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46225. We are located at the west end of the building near West Street, Victory Field and the JW Marriott, rather than near the mall. Click for a Google map to the Convention Center. The Mega registration desk will be on the first floor of the Convention Center in Hall B. Directional signs will help guide your way. We are pleased to offer transportation within the Convention C. Look for the IBA golf cart roaming the halls, hop in, and catch a free ride – courtesy of Crowe LLP, our transportation sponsor.

Hotel & Hospitality Suite – The Indianapolis Marriott Downtown is located at 350 W. Maryland St., Indianapolis IN 46225, and connects to the Indiana Convention Center via skywalk. This will be the site of the IBA hospitality suite on Monday and Tuesday nights on the 17th floor of the hotel. Please plan to stop by!

Registration - All registration materials will be distributed at the IBA registration desk, located in Hall B of the Indiana Convention Center. The IBA registration desk will be open during the following times:

  • Monday, May 13, 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.
  • Tuesday, May 14, 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, May 15, 7:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Dress Code - The IBA encourages attendees to dress comfortably for all educational sessions. Business casual dress (golf shirts, slacks, etc.) is appropriate. Due to temperature fluctuations at the Convention Center, a sweater or jacket is recommended.

Parking - There are many parking options in the area surrounding the Indiana Convention Center. Click for a link to nearby parking options.

Takeaways - Every Mega attendee will receive a full-size notepad in the registration tote bag for taking session notes. Additionally, this year we’ve added a takeaway page to the back of the program book. While your memory is fresh, use this space to jot down your motivations – then return to your bank ready for action!

Mobile App - Access the Mega mobile app by searching for “Indiana Bankers Association” in iTunes or Google Play, or click for a download link. This year’s app features session and speaker information; exhibitor and sponsor information; and a closed social network, allowing attendees to make connections, share photos and participate in session polls. Attendees with social media accounts can post within the app, as well. Please use #IBAmega. Thank you to our app sponsor, SHAZAM Inc.

Polling Questions in the Mobile App - To increase attendee interaction, many speakers have included polling questions into their sessions. Session polls can be accessed through the schedule, and sessions with poll questions will have a green icon and the word “poll” at the top of the screen. Once you answer the poll, results will display on your mobile device. General poll questions will also be appearing in the app activity stream throughout Mega.

Wi-Fi – Free Wi-Fi is sponsored by Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP. To access, please enter the password “BGDLEGAL” in all caps.

Handouts - Handouts are available in the mobile app and on the IBA mobile website before, during and after Mega. Each attendee will receive a full-size notepad for jotting down notes during sessions, plus the program booklet includes a takeaway page.

Exhibit Hall Game - Attendees need to visit 16 exhibitors to be entered into drawings. This contest is for bank registrants only; participants do not have to be present to win. Prizes include cash, electronics, handbags and restaurant gift cards. Game cards are available in the exhibit hall. You can also visit the IBA booth, or ask an IBA staff member for details.
