Mega Conference

The 2024 Mega Conference is scheduled for May 6-8, 2024 and will provide a great opportunity for Indiana bankers to listen, learn and network with peers. The conference will feature 50 total sessions as well as a vibrant exhibit hall.

Location

Indiana Convention CenterAll sessions for the 2024 Mega Conference will be held at the Indiana Convention Center at 100 S. Capitol Ave., Indianapolis IN 46225. This year our general sessions will be in Hall D which is located near the Maryland Street entrances of the Convention Center.

Hotel

A block of overnight rooms has been reserved at the The Westin Indianapolis at a rate of $189 per night. Reservations can be made online or via phone at 317/262-8100. Please note that cancellations must be made 72 hours in advance of check in or one night room and tax will be assessed. Cutoff date is April 15, 2024.

The Westin is located at 241 W Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46204 and is attached to the Indiana Convention Center via skywalk. 

Parking

This year our meeting rooms are located by the Convention Center entrances on Maryland Street. There are many parking options in the area surrounding the Convention Center. Click for a link to nearby parking options.

Overnight guests - The Westin garage is owned by the city. Self-parking does not allow for in-and-out privileges. For self-parking, you will need to provide your ticket to the Front Desk to receive a discounted flat rate of $45/24 hours. (Then you will pay directly at the kiosk in the garage by the elevator). The Westin offers valet parking, which does allow in-and-out privileges, at $54/night ($59 for oversized vehicles) billed to your room.

HOUSING SCAM

It has come to our attention that a company inaccurately representing itself as our "housing vendor" is contacting IBA members offering to make hotel reservations within the IBA block on your behalf, and some will also misrepresent that they are calling from the Westin Indianapolis.

Indiana Bankers is not utilizing the services of any housing service for the 2024 Mega Conference or any other IBA event.

Reservations for Mega should be made directly with the hotel using the information above. If you provide your credit card information to any of these unauthorized vendors, your card may be charged but you may not have a reservation when you arrive at the Westin.

Mega bucks

To encourage full participation in the 2024 Mega Conference, the IBA offers a Mega Buck program that allows members to purchase multiple conference registrations at a discount. To utilize the Mega Buck discount program, a member purchases at least 10 Mega Bucks (MBs). A single MB covers either the golf tournament or one day of attendance at the conference. For example, a person who registers for two days will use two MBs, and to also register for golf would require an additional MB. This year MBs are $150 each. Contact Susan Clark for a discount code prior to registering. Note that Mega Bucks are reserved exclusively for IBA members.

Program Topics

Golf Tournament

This year's golf tournament will be at the Country Club of Indianapolis. All golfers are invited to the men’s and women’s combined tournament on Monday, May 6. We will be using a four-man, best-ball scramble format. Prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third-place teams. The golf fee includes green fees, cart rental, lunch, beverages and prizes. Golf will begin with a shotgun start at noon.

Associate Member Appreciation Reception

Join us at the Westin Indianapolis Downtown from 6:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday, May 6, for a reception in honor of our valued associate members. This event is open to all registrants.

Mega Celebration

The Mega Celebration brings attendees together in the exhibit hall with food, drink and entertainment immediately following Wednesday’s sessions. This event is open to all registrants and is the perfect time to visit with old friends, make new acquaintances, and peruse the latest in bank products and services offered by our exhibitors. The Mega Celebration will be held from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7.
