Program Overview:

Managing Performance in Organizations: Communication
Part of the IBA Next-Gen Bankers Initiative

This new program is a part of the IBA's strategy to reach the next generation of bankers. It was created to bring together current emerging leaders who are part of the IBA Future Leadership Division with the 2019 class of banking interns throughout the state. The morning's educational program will address a leadership topic that can benefit anyone no matter where they are in their career. The afternoon lunch and networking portion will allow FLD members and interns to interact, share in a game of cornhole and build connections. For FLD members, this is a volunteer opportunity to mentor the next generation of bankers and encourage banking as a career. For banking interns, it is an opportunity to network with current emerging bank leaders and gain valuable communication tools that will benefit their future.

In this high-level overview of individual style and impact, Todd Gross will use lessons of behavioral science to help demystify the challenges of communication struggles in today’s organizations.

Focus Areas Include:
  -Individual Styles
  -Team/Organizational Styles
