The January/February Hoosier Banker profiles 2021 IBA Chairman Michael S. Zahn, president/CEO of First Federal Savings Bank, Huntington. A third-generation bank leader, he shares insights about pandemic challenges, community outreach and Association member support, among other topics.
The November/December Hoosier Banker offers “A Tale of Two Leaders,” profiles of state Sen. Rodric Bray, president pro tempore of the Senate; and Rep. Todd Huston as speaker of the House of Representatives. Read their insights about the upcoming 2021 General Assembly.
The September/October Hoosier Banker presents C2C (Commitment to Community) Award nominations, telling the story of bank community service in 2019. A total of 25 banks submitted nominations for the awards, with winners to be announced at the virtual Mega Conference in November.
The July/August Hoosier Banker shares the story of the creation of Indiana’s first banking concentration, made available last year at Purdue University Northwest, as well as the establishment of banking minors to be offered this fall at PNW and Ball State University. This innovative programming aligns with the Next-Gen pillar of the IBA strategic plan.
