Michelle Long joined the Indiana Bankers Association in 2008. As IBA’s government relations coordinator, some of her key responsibilities include coordinating activities for the Government Relations Team, tracking legislative news and events, and organizing advocacy events such as IBA regional meetings and the IBA Annual Washington Trip. In addition, Long is instrumental in providing customer service, maintaining the database, updating member contact information and offering administrative support. Prior to joining the IBA, she managed a retail establishment for more than 10 years, with previous experience in office management and administrative support. Long earned an associate’s degree in business administration from Ivy Tech Community College.
