Michael C. Marhenke is president and chief executive officer of iAB Financial Bank, Fort Wayne, and of Independent Alliance Banks Inc. Additionally he serves on the boards of directors of both organizations. Marhenke has 35 years of banking experience. He served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of Grabill Bank from 2000 to 2004, after having joined the bank in 1998 as vice president of business development; previously he was president of Norwest Bank, Bluffton. Marhenke serves on the Bankers Council and previously served on the American Bankers Association Membership Council. He is an advisory member of the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership, a member of the board of directors of the New Haven/Adams Township Park Department, and treasurer of the David Hefner International Exchange Fund. Marhenke previously served on the board of directors of the Indiana Bankers Association in the capacity of ABA Membership Council representative. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin.
