Mark E. Bruin is president and CEO of The National Bank of Indianapolis. Since joining the bank in 2001, he has been responsible for areas serving and supporting the bank’s clients, as well as overseeing compliance and regulatory matters.
Bruin started his banking career in commercial lending, specifically asset based lending, serving first with Comerica Bank and then Indiana National Bank (later to become NBD bank and subsequently Bank One).
He serves as a board member for LYNX Capital Corporation, Noble of Indiana and Premier Capital Corporation. He is also a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association.
Bruin earned his bachelor's and MBA degrees from Indiana University.
